What They Are?

Nutricia flocare container 500ml and Nutricia flocare container 1L: collapsible low-density polyethylene (LDPE) reservoir compatible with Flocare Universal and pack feeding sets.

1.3L top fill reservoir: empty ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) bag compatible with Flocare pack feeding sets.

Why You Need Them?

By using a gravity feeding set or enteral feeding pump, Flocare Container is intended to be used to give decanted product, reconstituted powder-based formula, and/or water.

How to use it?

We all now place greater importance on minimising our usage of plastic, thus we are in favour of doing so.

Even if you need to mix up more than one feed during the day, you may continue using the same giving set and flocare container, according to independent testing on both the flocare container and the giving set.

The same individual may use the same giving set more than once in a 24-hour period since all the giving sets have been evaluated and are acceptable for single-patient usage.

Keep the empty flocare container and feeding set in the refrigerator if the next feed is not due for 30 minutes. When it comes time for your next feed, take the empty flocare container from the refrigerator along with the giving set, and then decant or mix the fresh feed as normal without removing the giving set from the flocare container top.

Between uses, the empty flocare container and attached giving set should be kept in the refrigerator. After 24 hours, make sure to throw away any leftover food and the giving set. Don’t forget to recycle the plastic by placing the flocare container in your bin.

You can still use fewer flocare containers and giving sets each day even without access to a refrigerator.
